Euler IX issue (09.09.2026)¶

Around 2:20 pm, 238 Euler IX nodes went down due to a power outage at the CSCS data center in Lugano and are currently unavailable. Jobs running on those nodes are lost. If you see that your job failed with status NODE_FAIL, then it was very likely affected by this incident. Please restart those jobs if you were affected, as they can run on other nodes.

We are in the process of powering on and checking the nodes. Any nodes that pass the required checks will be brought back online as soon as possible.

Most of the Euler IX that went down due to the power outage are back in production.
